LED Bar Lights for Machine Vision
The new IDBA-C Series LED Bar Lights are one of the most versatile designs available to machine vision engineers. Their simple bar-shaped design offered in 16 sizes offers great positioning flexibility, enabling their use for front lighting (bright or dark field) or as backlighting when configured with diffusing plates (standard on some models). Unique IDBA-Q models combine 4 angle-adjustable bar lights into a single mounting fixture. Each of the bars in an IDBA-Q can be individually controlled, allowing several lighting combinations. Members of our Area Light Family, IDBA-Cs are offered in 68 standard size and wavelength configurations and IDBA-Qs in 16. IDBA-C and IDBA-Q models are used successfully in machine vision applications for code and character reading, edge detection, fill levels, pin counting and others.
Available with illuminated area dimensions ranging from 11 to 288 millimeters, IDBA-C standard models are available with red, white, blue or green LEDs. Standard IDBA-Qs are available in 71, 110 and 157 millimeter square packages with the same LED color choices. Additional wavelengths (IR, UV, RGB and yellow) and sizes may be custom ordered for both IDBA-C and IDBA-Q models. Optional diffusers to enhance lighting uniformity and optional polarizing plates to provide a means of controlling unwanted reflections are available for most models.

The new IDR-LA Series LED Low Angle Direct Ring Lights are designed for applications requiring high light intensity at close working distances. Unique within our Dark Field Lighting Family, IDR-LAs are designed to condense light in an area and are equipped with dual or triple rows of angled LEDs. The IDR-LA delivers a low angle of illumination onto a part’s surface, enhancing contrast of raised, indented or textured surface features. IDR-LA models are used successfully in machine vision applications requiring dark field lighting for surface inspection, inspection of bottle mouth integrity, code reading, and others.
Available in seven sizes with outer diameters of 38, 50, 74, 100, 120, 140 and 200 millimeters, IDR-LA models are available with red, white, blue or green LEDs. Additional wavelengths and sizes may be custom ordered. Optional diffusers are available for applications requiring improved lighting uniformity.

The new IDR-CT Series Arc Lights are designed for applications requiring an open arch of illumination. Unique within our Area Light Family, the IDR-CT’s semi-circle shape delivers light that partially surrounds an object, providing illumination through a 180° arch. This lighting technique supports inspections on both cylindrical surfaces and on objects requiring illumination of more than 1 side. Like other Area Lights, the IDR-CT can easily be positioned to provide either bright field or dark field lighting.
Due to their open arch design, IDR-CT Arc Lights can be mounted in a fixed position while allowing objects to easily be conveyed through their open 180° arch.
Typical applications for the IDR-CT are found in canning and bottling (e.g. print inspection on aluminum cans, debris in screw top bottle threads), machine parts (e.g. pistons and cylinders) and cosmetics (e.g. print inspection on lipstick and mascara).
Available with an outer diameter of 200mm and inner diameter of 170mm, the IDR-CT is available with red, white, blue or green LEDs. Additional wavelengths or sizes may be custom ordered.

The new IHR Series High Power Ring Lights from LDDLIGHT.com are designed for applications requiring high light intensity, illumination of large areas or long working distances. Unique within our Ring Series, IHR’s are equipped with Power LEDs that provide significantly higher output when compared to more conventional LED ring lights. The high illumination intensity in models sized up to 350 millimeters in diameter creates opportunities to deploy these long-life, high-efficiency LED units in applications that have been using less efficient, shorter life fluorescent or incandescent sources.
Available in six sizes with outer diameters of 85, 124, 154, 223, 273 and 353 millimeters, IHR models are available with red, white, blue or green LEDs. Additional wavelengths or sizes may be custom ordered. All IHR models are equipped with a standard diffusion optic for uniform illumination. Optional polarizing optics are available for applications requiring the suppression of glare from specular surfaces.

The new IFH Series Thin Type Dome Lights are only 8mm thick, requiring only a small fraction of the installation space that traditional dome lights take, yet they deliver a wide angle of illumination that was previously available only from hemisphere style dome designs. With LEDs mounted horizontally along the edges and patent pending optics that integrate the lighting and viewing planes, this ultra-thin design is capable of providing the uninterrupted, wide angle, uniform and shadow-free illumination needed when imaging shiny irregular surfaces. Unique within our Dome Series, the IFH optics eliminate the “dark spot” that can be caused by a standard dome light’s non-illuminated camera aperture.
Available in six sizes with illuminated areas of 25 x 25, 50 x 50, 75 x 75, 100 x 100, 150 x 150 and 200 x 200 millimeters, IFH models are available with red, white, blue or green LEDs. Additional wavelengths or sizes may be custom ordered.

New 24 Volt Machine Vision Lights

The new IDD-KH Series High Power Dome Lights from LDDLIGHT.com are available in six standard sizes ranging from 80mm (3”) to 350mm (14”) in diameter. The largest model in our Dome Series, the IDD-KH350‘s illumination intensity is greatest at up to 10mm working distances, from which it uniformly lights a 300mm field of view. The high brightness “Power LEDs” used in all IDD-KH models provide machine vision systems with generous light output for measuring, inspecting and reading applications where intense illumination is required. The IDD-KH’s hemispherical dome delivers a broad angle of illumination onto a part’s surface, reducing shadows that can make imaging shiny spherical and irregular surfaces problematic.
IDD-KH models are diffuse and available with red, white, blue or green Power LEDs. Models larger than 350mm diameter may be custom ordered.

New Tunnel-Type Machine Vision Dome Light
The new IQD Series Tunnel-Type Dome Lights deliver a broad angle of illumination onto a part’s surface, reducing shadows that can make imaging shiny spherical and irregular surfaces problematic. With the IQD Series tunnel (aka "half-pipe") configuration, large entry and exit doorways allow parts to be positioned inside the dome using standard part conveyance systems.
